Yes. You can switch between kg/cm and lbs/inches in every health calculator. The conversion is handled automatically.

BMI calculators for adults use adult formulas that are not appropriate for children. Pediatric BMI requires age-specific and sex-specific percentile charts. We recommend consulting your pediatrician for child health metrics.

Because different formulas exist. We use Mifflin-St Jeor, which is considered the most accurate for most people. Harris-Benedict, which is older, tends to overestimate slightly. The tool states which formula it uses.
